Not evil enough? Hardy-har-harrr...Cas was more than evil enough for the town...in fact, he was too evil for it. The Cat had, of course, tried to settle down in towns, but he always ended up getting caught nibbling on someone's elbow or something and he had to go back to Wonderland...it was the only place insane enough for him. "A place called Wonderland, actually. Not a very pleasant place, but I love it anyway." Cas replied, watching a small mouse race through the brush of the forest floor with hungry eyes, wondering if this Witch would have any meat at his place or if it would just be sweets. Not that there was anything wrong with sweets...Cas liked them just fine...but his jaw ached for something he could tear into.

The name rang a bell right away in the Witches mind. He looked over at Cas and nodded his head. "Oh? Do you know a girl called Alice?" He asked. By the fact that Zeque was smiling slightly when he asked, and wasn't all cut up and broken, it was pretty obvious that he had gotten on ok with Alice. If he hadn't gotten on with her, he most likely wouldn't have been standing here now. Most people that girl didn't like, didn't last very long. Oh and as for meat. Not likely. Zeque was a pescotarian. The only meat he ate was fish, and that wasn't even very often. Weirdly enough he didn't eat candy all that oftern either. To be honest he didn't really eat much at all, mostly just fruit and nuts he didn't use for cooking. Sweets and candy he just liked making. They were pretty colors and he could keep them for ages.

At the sound of Alice's name, Cas' irises flashed light blue, his pupils an odd silver, and he lurched forward and grabbed the squeaking mouse by it's tail...then promptly bit it's head off and chewed heartily. "Alice..." He spat past his mouth full of brain and flesh and bone, the headless corpse of the mouse clenched in his pale hand. "Aye, I know her...if she's there, little man, you can count me out. Blondie...well, let's just say she and I don't get along too well. Ever wonder why I was wearing a ribbon on my tail when you last saw me. The crazy girl cut it clean off...I almost lost it alltogether."

Zeque jumped a little when Cas took off after the mouse. Watching him bite off its head was just a little bit on the icky side, but he didn't show that on his face. What did show though, was how shocked he was at what Cas said next. "Really?!" Now hang on, hold up! Alice? As in Alice Alice? The nice pretty little blonde girl that liked lollipops and tea? "No shes not there now, she was over a few days ago" He still kind of really could not believe that. He really couldn't imagine her hurting anything, she had been no trouble at all. "I don't think we are thinking of the same Alice, she was really girly, like sweet little kind of girly"

Cas swallowed his mouthful of mouse, grimancing as he tore into it headless stump of a neck first. "Hah! I sincerely doubt it, little man. My Alice is much the same...even when she's trying to kill me. Would describing her bring a clearer image into your head? She's blonde, wears a shockingly revealing light blue dress under a white pinafore, and sometimes carries around a butcher knife. Man, I hate that freaking knife..." He said, rather glum that Alice had already gotten to this young witch. It wasn't fair--if she told him to, he'd probably jump Cas at a moment's notice. Which would ruin any chance at friendship the two might have.

At first he just sort of stared at cas, then bit his lip as the cat started to describe the girl who had just a few days ago been at his house eating sweets and chattering about hatters and tea. Well it all fitted perfectly, though how the hell he hadn't noticed that she was carrying a knife he didn't know. "Thats... really scary" He was still kind of shocked over the whole thing. He really did think girls with blonde hair looked like angels. He just couldn't picture her hurting anything. From the back Alice even could have looked a bit like Gretal. They both had hair the same color and length, well, Gretal's was a little longeractually... but anyway. "And sick! Why would anyone cut a ca-...feline's tail off?"

Cas suddenly blushed, as if he had caught with his fly down. "Well...I won't say I didn't do nothing, but I certainly didn't deserve to have my tail whacked off." He closed his eyes, brow furrowed, and added. "I got her lost...this was back in the day when I wasn't as...violent...as I am today...and she has yet to forgive me for it. I mean, how was I to know she'd go insane? All of the others found their way out put...you know what, never-mind. I wish you'd never mentioned her...can we get walking again?"
The Cat's cheeks were still pink (he was too pale for them to be fully red) and he was frowning as he slurped up the mouse's tail like a bit of spaghetti and swallowed.

Getting her lost was no reason to cut his tail of. Insane or not, most of the time animals ranked much higher in Zeques little world then people did. Most witches liked animals though, some even kept them as familiars. Well it didn't matter right now anyway, Cas didn't want to talk about it. "Sorry" He nodded his head, getting back to walking. They would be there soon anyway, about 2 minuets from here, if that. He didn't really know what to say now, worried that he might screw up and say the wrong thing again. It was about that point that the Witch became very self conscious and very soon his paranoia started trying to creep back in. He ignored it for now, concentrating on walking.

Cas followed Zeque wordlessly, his hands shoved into the pockets of his black, old-fashioned waistcoat and his white-haired head bobbing gently, matching the beat of his walk perfectly. The strange symbols that marred the pale skin around his right eyes were now a soft maroon, having cooled down slightly after the uncomfortable moments of before. He was thinking of the day when Alice went insane, the day when he himself plunged deeper into madness...it was not at all a pleasant line of thought, but Cas found he could not think of anything else.

He kept his eyes forward now, trying very hard to keep calm and not think about anything that would freak himself out. He would be home soon, it was safe there. He wasn't even sure why it was that he felt so on edge all of a sudden, surly if the cat was going to do anything to him he would have done it already. That thought didn't really make him feel any better. He stuck his hands in his pockets, his right hand finding Gretal's phone. That brought a small smile to his face. OK, now he could say something quick, before he got all spooked again. "Do you like milk?" OK, there were probably about a million better questions he could have asked then that but ti was a bit late now.

Had Cas been a cat at the moment, his ears would have perked up at the very mention of milk. As it was, all he could was smile broadly. "Milk? Yes, my good, sir, I absolutely adore milk. I know it's sterotypical, but love it I do. I can hardly find any in Wonderland, though...that son of a female dog Hatter hogs it all." he replied, already cheered at the mention of milk.

Well the fact that Cas didn't seem annoyed anymore calmed Zeque down quite a lot. "Well I'm good for something then, i have lots of milk at my house" He told the cat, then wondering if that meant he liked cream too. They were really close now. The witch tried to think what the state of the house was at the moment. As far as he remembered it was all tidy, he hadn't left anything out. Oh, yes he had, the brush he got Gretal to comb her hair with was still on the living room floor. To most people a brush on the floor wouldn't seem like a big deal really but Zeque had this thing about mess. The thing being he couldn't stand it, especially if there were people over. He made a mental note to put that away when he got back.
He opened the door, both with his key and with magic, then went inside. "You're welcome to anything you want Cas, would you like a drink?" Well he was guessing from the fact that the cat liked it so much that he would want milk. He was always fine with people eating whatever they wanted when they were here, because he made stuff much faster then he could go through it anyway. As i said before, he liked making candy a lot more then he liked eating it.

Cas waltzed in with his usual better-than-thou stride and immeaditly saw fit to cease to be human. A soft, almost faraway whistle peirced the air, and Cheshire dropped to all fours, shrinking rapidly and growing a forest of soft black hair. His usually light gold eyes brightened to a glamorous amber. He examined Zeque's house with approval in said eyes, noting the fact that the Witch saw fit to call him by his chosen name...which was, after all, what he wanted. Oh, yes, please...and do you have any chocolate, by the way? I've had a hankering for it since I left Wonderland.

Despite the fact that he had already seen Cas in both forms, the Witch was still kind of fascinated by the way he could just change like that. As he said earlier, he had never met anyone who could just change forms. "Thats amazing..." He said more to himself then anything. Then shook his head a little, coming back from his own thoughts. "Yeah sure" He told Cas, then headed off to the kitchen.
When he came back into the living room, the Witch was carrying a glass of milk in one hand and a plate in the other, piled with different kinds of chocolate. Dark, white, milk, fruit n nut and so on. Well he didn't know what kind the cat liked best did he. "Here ya go" He said, putting them down on the coffee table near the fire.

Cas smiled, having heard Zeque's comment with his advanced hearing. He settled down on his haunches, purring in anticipation for the chocolate. Oh, not really...it's not all that uncommon in Wonderland... He said, though this was only half true--Cas wasn't the only one to be able to shift like this, but there only one or two other native Wonderlanders able to do what he could, and he was related to one of them.
When the witch returned with the chocolate, Cas didn't bother to change back into a human and immeaditly pounced on the milk chocolate, covering his mouth with rich brown goo. Mmm....thanks, Sunny Jim...
