There was a soft thump as Cas fell onto his stomach once more, his legs twined around each other and raised in midair. He swung them slowly, like a teenage girl listening to a song she liked. He rested his chin on his closed fist, smiling at Dinah. "Dinah-dear...don't take this personally...but were you born like that, or did you dye it? Either way, that green is spectacular..." He gave his fellow cat a sharp-toothed grin, chuckling softly.

She was always a little touchy about her color. It was probably the fact that she was once very beautiful in the traditional way. Long blonde curls and big blue eyes with flawless skin, like a princess in a fairy story might look. She had also been very vain. She didn't see the way she looked now as unique or pretty. She thought it as weird and odd looking.
With a soft sigh she told the other cat, "Where i am from there is a witch who has green skin" in Oz everyone though Elphaba was evil, because the Wizard told them she was. Oz was controlled by the Wizard, they all believed what he told them to. "I met her once but i didn't know who she was and was silly enough to make fun of her.... so she turned me like this. I hate it too. I wish i could turn back, I used to be pretty"

Cas pouted at Dinah's obvious sadness. "Aww...you're pretty now, darling! In fact, I think you're more pretty to me that any ample-chested blonde could even come close to surpassing. You're special...rather like me, if I may be so vain as to say." He suddenly grinned. "Hey, now, kitty...cheer up, or I'll be forced to come over there and give you the biggest hug you've ever gotten."

Being called special did cheer her up quite a lot. She pulled herself back up into a sitting position and smiled brightly, brushing her hair off her shoulders. "Well i do feel better....but the hug sounds good anyway" She told him, shuffling a little closer and putting her arms out. She expected a hug now that he had said it, even if it did mean he would have to get up to give her one.
((sorry there short, ma muse sucks today))

Cas did not hug Dinah--he tackled her. In about 5 seconds, he was hugging her tightly, arms wrapped around the girl's waist and his grin threating to once again fall off the sides of his face. "Really? 'cause I think hugs make a lot of things get better...and you are special, no matter what you might tell yourself, mmkay?" ((Mine too...bleh. ))

The ware-cat gave a happy squealing noise as he tackled her, throwing her own arms around the other cat and hugging him back. She felt all safe and happy in his arms, it made her feel really good, especially with him saying nice things about her. "You're special too. Not many people are as sweet as you" She said seriously. Usually the only people who were nice to her since leaving Oz were the people who thought she was a cat and looked after her. She was already starting to consider Cas a friend, probably her first real one since leaving home.

Cas suddenly stood, hoisting Dinah into the air. Giggling, he twirled her around and around until he felt dizzy. He was breathless when he sat her back down on the earth, though his smile was as bright as ever. "Sweet? That's really the first time someone's called me that since...well, since I was naught but a kitten. Most people just scream and run away." He shook his head, not looking to sad about that. "Ah...maybe you're just an exception. I can't help but be sweet with you."

Dinah gave a girlish scream as he twirled her around, then went back into giggling like a little girl. Usually she didn't like being picked up, in her cat form she had been picked up and dropped More then enough times. She didn't mind so much now though because she just felt like he would be careful enough not to drop her. She trusted him. Back on the ground and feeling really dizzy from spinning, Dinah swayed slightly. "I'm glad" she told him, when he said he couldn't help but be sweet with her. She moved and sat next to him, rather then across from him, turning slightly so that she was still facing him.

Cas laid on the grass again, this time on his back with his arms and legs stretched out and his face turned upwards towards the sky. His hand curled around yet another bottle of milk, popped the top with it's thumb, and brought it to the Cheshire Cat's lips. He drank heartily, licking away droplets of the white stuff that did not fall directly into his mouth.
"Ahh..." He sighed, closing his eyes and smiling. "That was rather fun, wasn't it?"

Dinah nodded in agreement, it was fun, though she would not like to do it again in a hurry because now she was all dizzy. She watched him lay back, but stayed sitting up herself, again a light smile crossing her face. The Ware-cat then picked up a bottle of milk herself, but rather then drink it from there, she instead poured some out into the cup she had used earlier for her tea. It was just out of habit really. Setting the bottle down, Dinah picked up her cup of milk and took a few sips.

Cas sipped his milk, opening hsi eyes and looking dreamily up at the sky. It was, at the moment, and intriquing shade of light lavender, like a fadign bruise. It changed rapidly, the sky...The Cat thought it was normal, but most people from the outlands didn't.
"Hey, Dinah..." He asked, smiling gently. "What's the real world like? Is it as weird as this one?"

Dinah looked back over at Cas as he said her name, then thought for a moment about his question. "Well, no" She said laying back on the grass. "Well to you it would probably either seem weird... or really boring" She wasn't sure, it wasn't even nearly as interesting out there as it was here, but he had grown up here hadn't he so he would think wonderland as normal. "Not as nearly as colorful and everything doesn't change all the time... all the people arn't trying to kill each other though... well, not all of them."

"Not trying to kill each other?" Cas looked confused at that, and pouted like any human toddler. "Why wouldn't they? I mean, it's they only way you can keep people like Hatter and Alice off your turf, and they always come back anyways. Nothing changes? That sounds dreadfully dull...I've only been out into the woods, and even there I found some really cool things...but now I'm not to sure I even want to go again. What about your Oz? Is it any better there?"

"Oh? What really cool things?" She couldn't really imagine that there was a lot to find in the woods.. well aside from tree's and a few animals. But then again, he wasn't from there so he might find stuff she would find normal really interesting. Then at the question about Oz she smiled brightly "Oz has a lot of magic" She sounded quite proud of that, well being part witch she would be. "Its a beautiful place, well most of it is, especially the Emerald city." Despite the fact that she did not at all like green, she loved that place. She had only been a few times but it was stunning. As pretty as it was though, it was not the place it used to be. "It used to be much nicer though before all the new laws. Most schools there wont accept girls anymore, and even less of them will teach Animals."

Cas listened to her words, rolling over onto his stomach and resting his chin in the cup of his palm. He sipped his milk, his head tilted slightly to the right. When she was finished, he cleared his throat and smiled. "Oh, I helped too human children find each other again. Not something I'd normally do, but the boy promised me some milk. He hasn't given it yet, but he seemed a trustworthy lad so I'm willing to wait." He winked at Dinah, flashing a grin. "Really? I like magic...I suppose it's because I'm magic too--did I ever tell you I can't die? At least, I don't think I can...I got beheaded once and I was up and walking even as it bounced across the Queen's lawn. Do you have any people who can do that bakc home?"
