Gretal sighed quietly to herself and lied down on the bed. Laying on her side she watched the conversation between Cas and Zeque. They were talking about leaving and she was a little relieved because she really wanted to get to sleep.
Resting her head on her arm she closed her eyes but didn't fall asleep, she didn't want to fully fall asleep till they both left. But when she heard a loud banging on the door, her eyes opened. Sitting up quickly she looked at Zeque and Cas, "Who's that?" she asked freaked out. It was odd that somebody was banging on the door like that.

"COME IN!" Cas called and, leering, swiftly morphed into his human form. White hair fell in front of insane golden eyes and one pale hand shot and picked up his giant hammer with the ease of a child fetching a favorite toy. He hoisted the weapon into the air, poised and ready to knock the head off of anyone who dared enter."Hey, now, who could it be? Come in, come in, if you please!"
((Sorry it's so quick...I gotta go. Be back in an hour!))

Seeing what the cat was up to, Zeque quick as a flash turned and started his incoherent spell casting. The door made a small click, locking whoever was out there out of the room, just a few seconds before they started trying the door handle. "Don't-do-that" He turned to Cas, looking kind of apologetic for not letting the cat get to smash whoever was out there's head off. "She's like 16, I don't want her to have to see that" Outside, there was still banging and now some guys voice telling them to 'open the door'. Zeque had heard that voice before, but for now just ignored it. He looked over at Gretal as if she was going to know what they should do. Well it was her that was going to have to sleep here, so he was pretty sure she wouldn't want to be watching people getting there brains smashed out before going to bed. He knew for a fact that she had seen violence before but he doubted very much that she had ever watched someone get killed. He would rather keep it that way if he could.

Getting to her feet slowly, she kept her eyes locked on the door. She thought back to what she had done that night and tried to remember if she had done anything wrong. She could only remember bits and pieces of what she had done but she was really sure that she didn't do anything to cause somebody to track her down and start banging on her door. So that meant either Cas or Zeque had done something.
"Did one of you guys do something?" The whole Cas eating somebody's finger didn't come to mind since she didn't even think that he might have actually just cut off somebody's finger. "Should I open the door?" she said glancing over at Zeque.

Cas ordinarly wouldn't have listened to a word Zeque said...but, since he was nice and full from eating his finger-food, he relinquished his hammer with nary a disappointed sigh. The weapon caused a slight tremor to bubble through the floorboards undet the trio's feet, like a mini earthquake. The sound of the hard black material hitting the floor was, in itself, explosive. If that huge sound didn't freighten whoever was banging off, then maybe Cas was right to knock his...or her, it really could be either, Cas reminded himself...head off.
"Aww, come on, Zeque...can't I just grab whoever's out there and take them outside? I promise not to stain the walls or the windows or whatever..." The Cheshire Cat mewled, pouting like a three-year-old.

The Witch thought for a moment. After the noise that hammer had made just now, the guy out there banging on the door had stopped. Not for long though, after a few seconds they started with the 'open the door' and banging away. He sighed and with just a flick of the wrist took the spell off the door again, letting it click unlocked.
Taking a few steps away from the door, Zeque's gaze fell on Gretal, who was up and of her bed again. Apparently she couldn't even remember that Cas had just eaten a finger infront of her. So much for her remembering anything she had said tonight if she couldn't even remember something like that. "Its OK Gretal, Cas and the receptionist just had a bit of a disagreement downstairs..." Well if she didn't remember the gross finger thing then there really was no need to remind her.

Gretal jumped in surprise when Cas dropped the hammer, and was momentarily relieved when the knocking stopped. But sighed when the pounding started again.
Hearing the door click she took a step back, and accidently ran into the bed and almost fell back. "What do you mean a disagreement with the receptionist?" She stopped in slow realization "Wait the 'finger' came from the receptionist" she said a little more to herself than anyone else.
After hearing Cas mention something about not spilling anything on the walls or windows she somehow put two and two together and knew what he wanted to do to whoever was pounding on the door. Gretal sidestepped and hid a little behind Zeque if Cas was going to kill anybody she didn't want to see it.

"Right-o, sweetheart." Cas grinned creepily, running his long, pale fingers through his glorious white hair. That hair should have belonged to a very old man...but, since The Cat was not old (or at least not apparently so) and not a man, he was altogether strange. Cas was twitching slightly now, getting steadily annoyed with the banging and shouting. His fingers curled and uncurled inside his silky mass of hair, and his thin lips drew back in a snarl. "Shut the hell up, man, before I have to come out there and dirty that pretty carpet I saw coming in!"

The witch watched as Cas waited, any time now the guy out there was going to come in. Even if the Cheshire Cat was going to take it outside, he still didn't much like the whole idea. Still, what could he do? It was really Cas's business not his, after all, Cas was the one who cut off some receptionists finger. It kind of did serve her right for saying cats couldn't go upstairs.
Deciding that it might be a good idea to take both Gretal's, and his own attention away from what was going on with Cas and the banging guy, Zeque turned around towards the girl. He was a little surprised to see that she had moved behind him, probably so she wouldn't have to see what was happening. "Are you OK?"

The entire situation was crazy, Gretal didn't want to watch Cas kill anybody. "Cas don't, all your going to do is get in more trouble" She pleaded. She reallt hoped that the man wasn't up there because the receptionist had died from losing her finger, it didn't seem like the type of injury that could be fatal but she supposed she could have bled to death.
Gretal didn't have any memory of her being rude, so at the moment she was feeling really bad for her and was hoping she hadn't died.
She shook her head, "No, maybe I should have gone home. I don't want to see someone get killed, in fact I don't even want to know about it."

Cas turned his white-haired head sharply to the right, grinning and Gretal and Zeque. "Oh, sweetcakes, did you think I was going to make you watch? Naw...you and Mr. Zeque can just go on ahead...I'll take care of these fatherless sons of whores. I'm just waiting for whoever it is to just stop banging AND COME IN ALREADY!" He yelled the last part at the door. The banging ceased long enough for The Cat to relax a bit, but then started up again. Cas realized he had never wanted to kill someone so bad in his very long life...or, if he had, then he didn't remember it. His fingers curled around the handle of his enormous hammer, squeezing it fitfully.

Now Gretal was begging Cas to leave it, she was right too, if he hurt that guy then more would no doubt come. It would make things worse. Both the banging and the fact that the Cheshire cat just raised his voice were really getting to the witch. Time to do something Zeque was very good at when he didn't like what was going on around him. He just zoned right out.
His gaze moved from Gretal to the space just over her head, not really looking at anything at all. The good thing about being able to just stop paying attention was that he would forget all of this later. However, he didn't really think about the fact that it might freak Gretal out just a little, seen as every other time he had been off in his own little world like this around her, he had probably hurt her.

Gretal nodded numbly, seeing as their was nothing she could say to stop Cas from killing whoever was out there. The banging on the door was getting really annoying but not enough to where she would want to kill him for it.
She sighed quietly to herself, and focused back on Zeque, but when her gaze hit him, she felt her heart skip a beat. She could not believe she was having this much bad luck. It was apparent to her what he was doing, she had seen that look when she had said something really stupid and he had got mad. "Zeque, snap out of it. Don't do this right now" She begged pulling on his arm a little.

"Oh, that's it." Cas growled...and his eyes changed. His irises had orginally been a very light gold, but now they were bright blue, his black pupils turned silver as a moonbeam. It was a very drastic change that made him look even further from human than he already did.
The Cat charged forward, hammer raised, and slammed his hand down on the doorknob. Still growling under his breath, he fluidly turned the knob and opened the hotel room door to reveal...
((Heh...ebil me...it's up to youse guys to think up who's behind the door.))

To Zeque, Gretal's voice sounded a little distant. 'What do you want Kitten?' He thought, glancing at her (or more right though her) as she pulled on his arm. It couldn't be that important whatever it was. Although he was partly aware of Gretal at the moment, just about everything else was being completely blanked out. Every now and then he thought he heard that stupid banging getting though, so he adjusted his thoughts to concentrate on Gretal, just so that he could ignore the banging a little easier. "You look pretty today, when did you get so grown up?" He asked, kind of randomly and still sounding very distant, not quite with it.
On the other side of the door was not a police officer but the hotel manager, a tall man with a few Grey strands running through his otherwise dark hair. By the looks of things the police had not even been called, either that or were just taking there time arriving. Despite the fact that he had been yelling for them to open the door for quite a wile now, he looked very surprised when Cas actually did.
